Does your baby display with a misshapen head shape? Here at The Tiny Toppers we aim to correct your infants head shape with our state of the art Cranial Remolding Orthosis (CRO). The CRO is designed to reshape your infants head shape that are diagnosed with moderate to severe deformational head shapes such as plagiocephaly, brachycephaly, and scaphocephaly. The CRO is also used in conjunction with infants diagnosed and surgically treated for craniosynostosis. One out of two hundred infants born are diagnosed with a deformational head shape. Additionally, only one out of two thousand infants born will be diagnosed with craniosynostosis.

Here at The Tiny Toppers, we offer a wide range of services to properly diagnose and treat your infant’s head shape. We use state of the art technology, such as a Laser Data Acquisition System, that will capture and create a 3D image of the infant’s head shape. This is used to evaluate and develop a treatment plan. If it is determined that your infant’s head shape would benefit from a CRO, we will create a custom fabricated CRO that with properly fit your infant’s head.

The CRO is designed to safely hold the areas of unwanted growth and redirect brain and skull growth into intentional void areas. This process will help correct your infant’s head shape. Depending on age and severity, this process will take approximately 3-5 months. Your infant will need to wear the CRO 23 hours a day, 7 days a week to capture needed brain growth.
